The estate spans a mere 8 hectares of venerable vines, strategically positioned on sun-drenched, steeply terraced vineyards along the Rhône`s western banks. Taking calculated risks with the weather, the grapes are harvested at the optimum moment of ripeness. Auguste Clape`s Cornas wines are celebrated for their poised and refined character. Aged for 2 years in concrete vats and ancient casks, these wines are crafted for long-term ageing.
