Sine Qua Non is the creation of pioneering winemaker, Manfred Krankl, and is a world-famous cult winery revered for producing miniscule quantities of unique Rhône-inspired wines from some of the greatest vineyards across the Central Coast. Just 529 cases of the 1997 Impostor McCoy Syrah were produced and, as ever, it is a seamlessly balanced yet seductively rich wine with incredible purity of fruit and remarkable savoury complexity. This should be at its absolute zenith for drinking with decanting in advance of service recommended.
