Château L`If is a relatively new wine estate, founded in 2010 by Jacques Thienpont, who also owns the renowned Pomerol estate, Le Pin. The property is located in the heart of the Saint-Émilion appellation, on clay and gravel soils, and is planted to 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc. Les Collines de L`If is the second wine from the Château, made with the same care and expertise as its big brother. The 2019 vintage in Bordeaux is generally regarded as a very good to excellent year, praised for its overall consistency across the region.
