Fattoria Monticino Rosso Codronchio Albana is a full-bodied dry white wine produced from the Albana grape in Emilia-Romagna, northern Italy. Monticino Rosso was is located in the hills of Imola, on the border with Emilia, and was founded by Antonio Zeoli in 1965. Antonio`s sons, Luciano and Gianno, took over in the 1980 and their particular pride is the wine they make from the local Albana grape variety. A thick-skinned grape variety, Albana exhibits notes of apricot, pineapple and honey, with a pronounced mineral dimension when yields are kept low.
