Situated in Morey-Saint-Denis, Odoul-Coquard is a family-owned estate with its origins in the 1930s. Chief winemaker Sébastien Odoul joined the business in 2004, after gaining in-depth experience at Domaine Dujac, Mommessin, and Domaine Denis Mortet. This release comes from the Grand Cru Clos de Vougeot, where Odoul-Coquard owns a 0.21-hectare plot planted with 50-year-old vines. The 2021 vintage is showing a firm tannin structure that will only mellow over time.
