Castello d`Albola is a historic estate in the heart of the iconic Chianti Classico wine region, which can trace its origins back to the early part of the 11th Century. The estate`s portfolio features several Chianti Classico wines, including Il Solatio, from a one-hectare parcel planted with Sangiovese. The 2015 vintage has intense aromas of cherry jam, hints of spices, cinnamon, pepper and tobacco. The palate is elegant and slightly savoury, with notes of dark and red berries. Long and persistent finish.
