In his relentless pursuit to push the boundaries and showcase the finest expression of the terroir, this Châteauneuf-du-Pape reflects the very essence of Domaine la Barroche and Julien Barrot`s winemaking philosophy. The wine is a skilful blend, primarily composed of Grenache grapes meticulously hand-harvested from century-old vines. Smaller proportions of Mourvèdre, Syrah, and Cinsault also contribute to the final blend. Each grape variety is treated with individual care, undergoing separate vinification and aging processes. Grenache matures in old oak casks, while Mourvèdre and Syrah develop on their lees in barrels, and Cinsault is nurtured in stainless steel tanks. The aging period spans approximately 18 months, and no filtration is applied before the wine is bottled.
