Domaine Marc Morey & Fils was originally founded in 1919 by Marc’s father Fernand Morey, who began his career as a vigneron with a couple of hectares in Chassagne-Montrachet. Today, the estate is run by Marc’s daughter Marie-Josèphe, her husband Bernard Mollard and their daughter Sabine. This release is their premier cru Les Chenevottes 2017 which was matured for 10 months in oak barrels, of which 25% was new. It’s an elegant, medium-bodied expression, delivering notes of fresh pears and orange zest complemented by a dash of spices and herbs.
