Located in Morey-Saint-Denis, Domaine Dujac is undoubtedly one of Burgundy’s finest wine producers. Originally founded in 1968 by Jacques Seysses, the estate is currently managed by his sons Jeremy and Alec Seysses, and daughter-in-law Diana. This release comes from ‘Les Gruenchers’, a lieu-dit north of the village of Chambolle-Musigny where Dujac owns a 0.32 parcel. The 2001 is a classic Dujac, revealing aromas of red cherries, spices and dried herbs. The palate is silky, with bright acidity and plenty of fruit richness, punctuated by earthy undertones.
