Casamigos is a small-batch, ultra-premium Tequila and Mezcal company founded by film actor George Clooney, and business associates Rande Gerber and Mike Meldman. What began as a hobby project to create a Tequila and Mezcal to drink in their homes in Mexico turned into one of the most successful brand in these respective drinks categories.
Casamigos produces Tequilas in Blanco, Reposado, Cristalino and Añejo styles, while there is a single artisan Mezcal. Casamigos Mezcal is crafted from 100% Espadín agaves grown in the rich red clay soil and cool climate of the Highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. Casamigos Tequilas are produced using 100% blue weber agave, also in the Highlands of Jalisco. The agave piñas are roasted in a process that includes traditional brick ovens. This is followed by a slow fermentation process to create Casamigo’s signature smooth, clean taste.
