Although Le Petit Clos maybe considered the second wine of Clos Apalta, it is a different interpretation of its distinctive terroir and undergoes the same precise winemaking as the Grand Vin. The 2019 vintage is a blend of Carménère, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot, with an aromatic nose of red fruits, spices and a touch of vanilla. It is a full-bodied wine, with a lush texture and round tannins.
