In the spring of 2010, acclaimed Portland distiller Lee Medoff and business partner Patrick Bernards founded Bull Run Distilling Company, along with a few trustworthy friends. They are dedicated to producing small-batch, craft spirits with a specific focus on whiskey and unique barrel finishing. This release was aged for 14 year before spending an additional 7 months in Oregon Pinot Noir casks, imparting a deep and rich fruitiness.
