An elegant Brunello di Montalcino Riserva produced from Sangiovese grapes sourced from dedicated vineyards sloping down from the historic Poggio alle Mura castle which crowns the Banfi estate in Tuscany. Aged for 2 years in French oak barriques. The nose is rich and ample, with hints of prune jam, coffee, cacao and a light balsamic note. Full and powerful on the palate, with ripe, soft tannins. A wonderfully concentrated Riserva built for long aging.
