Palace Hotel Bussaco Branco 2018 is a white wine produced by the iconic Bussaco Palace Hotel in Luso, Portugal. Built for Portuguese royalty in the late 19th century, the intricately ornate Bussaco Palace was converted into a hotel by Alexandre de Almeida in 1917. The hotel began producing its own wines – a white and a red produced from Dao and Bairrada grapes – in the 1920s and houses many extremely old vintages in its cellars. A blend of Bical, Maria Gomes and Encruzado, this estate white wine was matured for up to 12 months in 50% new 300L French barrels and spent four years maturing in bottle before release.
