Château Bourgneuf is a highly regarded Pomerol estate which has been owned by the Vayron family for 100 years. The relatively small property covers 9 hectares and is made up of a mix of soils, including clay and sand, pure clay and gravel. This is the 2019 vintage of its Grand Vin, a blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc. At 15% ABV, this is a muscular, full-bodied wine, displaying notes of ripe plums, tobacco, vanilla oak, dark chocolate and cedar.
