The wines of Bond are magnificent expressions of Cabernet from highly distinctive prime Napa Valley vineyard sites by Bill Harlan and his winemaking team. Melbury is a 7-acre parcel on sedimentary and clay soils from hills east of Rutherford. The 2005 is stunning with saturated purple and blue fruits, graphite minerality, malleable tannins and an exceptionally complex finish.
