The fermentation process unfolds over roughly 45 days, during which lees stirring is conducted twice daily. Following fermentation, the wine is matured in American oak barrels for a duration of 12 months before eventually being bottled. This is succeeded by an extra five months of bottle ageing before the wine is made available.
