Giuseppe Tosolini, better known as Bepi, started distilling in 1943 and quickly made a name for himself as a producer of incredibly high quality premium grappa at a time when it was still considered a cheap and rough spirit for those who could not afford more luxurious spirits. Still family owned and operated, the company now also has a range of liqueurs including Amaretto and Limoncello. This is a beautifully authentic and refined Amaretto produced by infusing crushed almonds in alcohol rather than using concentrates or extracts. Lightly syrupy in texture, it boasts deliciously natural flavours of marzipan, macaroon, toasted almonds and vanilla.
