Bellavista Satèn 2018 is a vintage traditional-method sparkling wine produced from Chardonnay grapes in the Lombardy region of northern Italy. `Saten` means `silky` and this is reflected in a strikingly elegant style of the Franciacorta with lower atmospheric pressure producing a softer perlage.. This example from Bellavista is made only in the best vintages from 100% Chardonnay grapes from high-altitude vineyards. Once assembled, the cuvée spends four years maturing in the cellar. The rich mousse, the extremely fine bubbles and the straw yellow colour give way to aromas of pink flowers, ripe citrus fruit and hazelnut. The palate has a smooth, creamy texture and a perfect balance between ripe nuances and freshness.
