Château Bel-Orme Tronquoy de Lalande 1986 is a mature-vintage, full-bodied red wine from the Haut-Médoc region of Bordeaux. Overlooking the Gironde estuary in Saint-Seurin-de-Cadourne, Château Bel-Orme was founded in 1750 by the Tronquoy-de-Lalande family. Since 1936 has been the property of the Quié family. Noted for its biodiversity, the estate spans more than 28 hectares with, unusually for the Haut-Médoc, Merlot the dominant variety (65%, with the rest Cabernet Sauvignon). This mature bottling is from the sleeper 1986 vintage.
