Pascal Marchand Batard-Montrachet 2010 is a mature-vintage, full-bodied Burgundy white wine from the Grand Cru climat of Batard-Montrachet in the Côte de Beaune. Pascal Marchand is a Quebec-born Burgundy winemaker whose previous roles have included head winemaker at Comte Armand de Vougeot in Pommard. Produced with his Canadian compatriot Morey Tawse, this 2010 Batard-Montrachet was produced from old Chardonnay vines which have lent lend power, intensity and complexity to the wine. Just two barrels were made.
