Pio Cesare Barolo 1985 is a mature-vintage Nebbiolo red wine from the Barbaresco appellation of Piedmont, northern Italy. Pio Cesare was founded in 1881 by Cesare Pio and is one of the oldest wine estates in the region. The company continues to be owned and run by Cesare Pio`s descendants, five generations on. 1985 is a great vintage for Barolo. The Pio Cesare 1985 comes from a superb Piedmont vintage and is a wine full of seductive Nebbiolo perfume and nicely resolved tannins.
