`Pio Cesare Barolo 1964 is a mature-vintage Nebbiolo red wine from the Barbaresco appellation of Piedmont, northern Italy. Pio Cesare was founded in 1881 by Cesare Pio and is one of the oldest wine estates in the region. The company continues to be owned and run by Cesare Pio`s descendants, five generations on. This 1964 bottling harks back to a bygone era in Barolo and comes from one of the finest Piedmont vintages of the 20th century.
