Paolo Scavino is a highly regarded Barolo producer with approximately 23 hectares of vineyards. The estate was established in 1921 and it is still family owned to this day. The 2011 Barolo Monvigliero greets the senses with an enticing aroma of cherries, strawberries, and cranberries. This is complemented by floral scents such as roses, alongside earthy, mineral, and orange peel undertones. Subtle spices, sandalwood, herbs, and a touch of tar complete the aromatic profile. Medium-bodied, the wine reveals an excellent concentration of well-balanced, velvety-textured fruit flavours, intertwined with herbal, mineral, and spicy elements.
