Renato Ratti Barolo Marcenasco 1971 is a mature, full-bodied red wine produced from Nebbiolo grapes in the Barolo appellation of Piedmont, northern Italy. Historical records testify to the cultivation of Nebbiolo grapes in Marcenasco in the 12th century. Renato Ratti first produce wine from this area in 1965. Ratti considered 1971 to be a great year for Marcenasco – one with low yields and very high-quality fruit. The grapes for this wine in 1971 were sourced exclusively from the cru of Rocche dell`Annunziata.
