Founded in 1921, Paolo Scavino is a leading wine producer based in Castiglione Falleto. The estate covers approximately 30 hectares within the Barolo appellation and offers a variety of expressions. Carobric is a blend of from three different sites. Rocche di Castiglione in Castiglione Falletto, Cannubi and the Fiasco vineyard. The wine is wonderfully expressive on the nose, suggesting notes of truffles, forest floor, tobacco and a hint of dried cherries. The palate is still quite fresh, revealing a silky texture and fine tannins.
