Barolo Cannubi Boschis Sandrone Magnum 1995

Luciano Sandrone Barolo Cannubi Boschis 1995 is a full-bodied red wine produced from Nebbiolo grapes in the Boschis sub-zone of the Cannubi cru in the Barolo appellation of Piedmont. The now-prized Boschis vineyard was purchased by Luciano Sandrone in 1978 and the Nebbiolos produced from this site helped to establish the stellar reputation that the Sandrone family enjoys today. "Good full fresh red. Sweet aromas of candied dark berries and mint. Very concentrated, but firm rather than fat thanks to lively acids. Flavours are cool and youthful.
