Giuseppe Rinaldi Barolo Brunate 2010 is a medium- to full-bodied red wine produced from Nebbiolo grapes in the Piedmont region of northern Italy. Beppe Rinaldi was one of the most revered winemakers in the Langhe, whose wines are highly sought-after among Barolo aficionados. Until his death in 2018, he produced wines that were among the most traditional in Barolo, with long maceration times and patient maturation in old Slavonian oak casks. There are wines that take along time to open up and mature, but that emphatically reward patience. "The 2010 Barolo (Riserva) Brunate is off the charts. Sublime, powerful and incredibly nuanced, the 2010 captures all the elements that make this vintage so special. I am not sure what I can add. Everything is there. Time in the glass brings out a super-classic profile of rose petal, tar, incense, spice and citrus peel, but it is the wine’s regal bearing that is truly impressive." 100 points, Vinous, 2019
