The 2016 Barbaresco Vallegrande is lively and fairly aromatic, with great vigour driving the red berry fruit, spice and floral flavours. Medium to full body. The palate is elegant, with hints of cherries, watermelon and preserved strawberries. Considered to be one of the most polished Barbarescos from Ca` del Baio. Ready to drink now but will benefit from extended aging.
