AA Badenhorst Sout van die Aarde Palomino 2022 is a medium-bodied, single-vineyard white wine from the Swartland region of South Africa. This under-the-radar Palomino from Adi Badenhorst uses fruit from a vineyard planted in the 1940s, which also provides fruit for Eben Sadie’s Skerpioen cuvée. "Whole bunch pressed before ageing in older 500-litre barrels, this is a savoury, earthy, salty number with sourdough bread and umami flavours, a nip of skin tannins and a sea breezy finish."
