A relative newcomer to the South African wine scene, Ataraxia was founded in 2004 by husband-and-wife team Kevin and Hanli Grant. The estate comprises approximately 50 hectares of prime vineyard land in one of the country’s most elevated growing areas. This Pinot Noir from the 2020 vintage is all class, offering up notes of sweet red cherries, baking spices, vanilla and an underlying earthiness.
