Bruno Clavelier Vosne-Romanée Les Beaux Monts 1999 is a mature Burgundy red wine from the Premier Cru climat of Les Beaux Monts in the Vosne-Romanée commune of the Côte de Nuits. In the late 1980s, Bruno Clavelier assumed control of the winemaking responsibilities from his grandfather, Joseph Brosson, undertaking expansions of the winery facilities and cellars to enable in-house bottling of all their wines. He operates the vineyards on a rental basis from the family, employing biodynamic farming practices and holding organic certification. This particular release hails from their 0.30-hectare parcel situated in `Aux Brûlée,` which is a Premier Cru within the Vosne-Romanée appellation. This vineyard is renowned for yielding relatively robust, concentrated wines distinguished by their spicy characteristics.
