Vosne-Romanee Les Beaux Monts

Located just above the Grand Cru of Echézeaux, and immediately north of Richebourg on the western side of the Côte d’Or, Vosne-Romanée Les Beaux Monts is a prestigious premier cru vineyard producing fleshy, full-bodied Pinot Noirs, the best of which have extraordinary ageing potential.

While the cooler upper section of Les Beaux-Monts – sometimes rendered as ‘Les Beaumonts’ – produces Pinot Noirs of elegance and refinement, it is the warmer, lower sections which produce the very best examples from this vineyard. Les Beaux Monts represents the largest holding of Mme Bize-Leroy, who owns just over 2ha of the 11.4 hectare site. Leroy Les Beaux Monts Pinots are among the most sought-after in Burgundy. Domaine Dujac and Domaine Grivot are other highly respected producers who own vineyard parcels here.
