First produced in 2006, Spinning Beauty is undoubtedly the flagship wine of Marco Caprai and is one of the finest expressions of 100% Sagrantino from Montefalco in Umbria. From the superb 2010 vintage, fruit for this wine comes from a selection of the oldest plots of vines in the Monte della Torre estate vineyard. It was aged for 8 years in French oak barrique with an additional 8 months in bottle prior to release. This is an immensely full-bodied and complex wine with at least 20 years of ageing potential.
