Arnaldo Caprai, a leading Umbrian wine estate in central Italy`s Montefalco, is renowned for its classic Sagrantino di Montefalco DOCG wines. Established in 1971 by Arnaldo Caprai, a textile businessman, the estate began with a 5-hectare site that quickly expanded. Under the guidance of Marco Caprai, who assumed control in 1988, it gained recognition as a top Sagrantino di Montefalco producer. Among their notable wines is the 25 Anniversario Sagrantino di Montefalco, introduced in 1993 for their 25th anniversary, earning significant acclaim and securing a permanent place in their portfolio. The 2009 vintage is lightly floral and fruity on the nose, leading to an earthy palate and medium finish.
