Armand de Brignac is a prestige cuvée produced and bottled by the Cattier family, who have been making Champagne since the 1700s. The current head of the house, Jean-Jacques Cattier oversees the miniscule production of four different wines Brut Gold, Rosé, 100% Chardonnay Blanc de Blancs and 100% Pinot Noir Blanc de Noirs.
The wines are widely known for their unmistakable packaging and celebratory endorsements, but cynics beware - the wine has won numerous medals and awards over the years and was one christened the "best Champagne in the world" during a blind tastings of over 1,000 different brands.
