Launched in 1936, Dom Pérignon is the prestige cuvée of Moët and Chandon named after the legendary Benedictine monk Dom Pierre Pérignon. Always a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, their percentages change from vintage to vintage in order to create the perfect balance between the two grapes. The summer of 1992 was very warm, producing beautifully healthy grapes, which is reflected in this cuvée. Expect notes of dried fruits, bergamot and some spices, wrapped with a thin floral layer.
