The 2014 `Il Velluto` is produced from a blend of the traditional varieties, 30% Corvina 30% Corvinone 30% Rondinella and 10% Molinara. Aged for around 3.5 years in Slavonian oak followed by six months bottle aging ahead of release. Characterised by its velvet textured palate, hence `Il Velluto`, this would pair well with cold cuts and mature cheeses to roasts and pasta dishes with meat based sauces.
