Zahel is a family-owned, biodynamic winery situated within city limits of Vienna, with approximately 33 hectares under vine. The boutique estate is currently led by Alex Zahel, who took over from his uncle in 2005. This Sauvignon Blanc natural wine is produced in a strictly limited quantity of only 300 bottles. After 4 days of skin contact, the grapes are gently pressed and fermented in used barrels that are 8 years old. The rocky dolomite limestone additionally imparts pressure and chalkiness on the palate.
