Yquem 2004

Château d`Yquem, known for its meticulous selection process and high-quality wines, crafted a well-regarded 2004 vintage. This wine is predominantly made from Sémillon grapes with a smaller proportion of Sauvignon Blanc. The wine displays a rich golden colour, and offers an aromatic profile of honey, apricot, citrus peel, and tropical fruits, along with subtle notes of vanilla, almond, and spice from oak aging. The wine can be enjoyed now or cellared for several more years to allow for further development of complexity and tertiary flavours. As with other Château d`Yquem wines, the 2004 vintage pairs well with foie gras, blue cheese, and fruit-based desserts.
