The Wittmann family have been winegrowers in the municipality of Westhofen in Rheinhessen since the 17th Century. One of the most highly regarded wineries in the region, they produce incredibly high-quality Riesling from exceptional vineyards that are organically and biodynamically cultivated. From the revered Kirschspiel vineyard, this is a wonderfully elegant and nimble release from the excellent 2018 vintage. It is dangerously approachable already, but this will develop beautifully in bottle.
