Third generation winemaker, Emmerich Knoll, is one of Austria`s leading producers and runs the family winery along with his wife, Anja. Since their business launched in the 1950s, there has hardly been another winery who has shaped Wachau as a serious, high-quality wine-growing region as strongly as that of the Knoll family. Their iconic wine labels depict the image of Saint Urban, patron protector of winegrowers. Knoll has 18 hectares of vineyards along the slopes of the Danube river in Wachau, Austria’s premium winemaking region. The 2020 displays gentle floral aromas, orchard blossom and hints of honey on the nose. Very juicy and refreshing on the palate showing crunchy red apples, nectarine and yellow peach fruit together with a beautifully creamy texture.
