55% Cabernet Franc, 42% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Merlot. The 2018 vintage is deep garnet in colour, with a ruby red rim. Aromas of cassis, lavender, cedar wood and cigar box. As the wine opens up it shows more crème de cassis and blackberries. The palate is rich and concentrated with intensity and structure. Blackberries and cassis mingle with sweet spices and a lovely savoury note. The tannins are firm, but well structured, and will allow the wine to age gracefully. Decant for a few hours if you want this wine to show its true colours. The perfect match for roasted lamb shank.
