Since its foundation in 1875, the Vigneau-Chevreau estate, located in the heart of the Vouvray appellation, has grown, over five generations, from 5 to 33 hectares. Produced from 100% Chenin Blanc grown on the clay-siliceous soils of the Loire hillsides, with a high proportion of flint. Harvested manually from 30 to 40-year-old vines, this cuvée is characterised by a small percentage of residual sugar together with good acidity. Brilliant yellow in colour, with aromas of apple, pear and citrus. The perfect accompaniment to seafood.
