Domaine Sylvain Cathiard et Fils is a family-owned wine estate currently run by Sébastien Cathiard. The Domaine has roughly five hectares of vines spread between Vosne-Romanée, Nuit-Saint-Georges and Chambolle-Musigny, including a tiny plot in Romanée-Saint-Vivant. This release comes from the Premier Cru ‘Les Suchots’, where Cathiard owns a 0.16-hectare plot. The parcel is on deep clay soils and tend to produce rich, opulent wines with a lovely layer of sweetness.
