Reichsrat von Buhl has been a family-owned winery for more than 150 years and makes timelessly classic and terroir-driven organic wines in the German region of Pfalz. The idea behind their non-vintage sparkling wine is to keep the focus on ‘house style’ rather than highlight the characteristics of a particular vintage. It is made from a blend of Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay vinified in both stainless steel and oak barrels prior to secondary fermentation in bottle with 36 months lees-maturation before disgorgement.
