Domaine Joseph Voillot`s ‘Volnay Vieilles Vignes’ is a red Burgundy wine made from old vines in the Volnay appellation within the Côte de Beaune. These old vines, usually over 50 years old, typically produce lower yields but with more concentrated and complex flavours. The wine is known for its elegance, finesse, and depth, with a harmonious balance of fruit and earthy characteristics. Traditional winemaking techniques are employed, including aging in French oak barrels, which imparts structure and subtle oak nuances. One for the cellar.
