Clos de la Bousse d`Or is a premier cru vineyard within the Volnay appellation, planted to Pinot Noir vines only. As the ‘clos’ name implies, it is a walled vineyard and also a monopole, owned entirely by Domaine de la Pousse d`Or. The 2009 vintage has a solid medium body, excellent acidity and the structure to age in the bottle for another 15 years or so. But very approachable now.
