This English sparkling rosé is carefully crafted from the finest handpicked Pinot Noir grapes grown on the Roebuck Estate’s Roman Villa vineyard. The grapes are whole-bunch pressed and partially fermented in old French oak barrels followed by a second fermentation then generous lees ageing of 53 months (minimum) in bottle. The 2018 is 78% Pinot Noir, and 17% Pinot Meunier with a splash of Pinot Précoce added prior to release imparting an attractive pale pink hue and ripe red fruit characteristics on this wine.
Vibrant and expressive with notes of wild strawberries, white peach and a hint of honeysuckle. The perfect apéritif to be enjoyed with friends and family all year round.
