Quinta do Crasto Vinha Maria Teresa 2019 is a full-bodied, single-vineyard red wine from the Douro Valley of Portugal. Vinha Maria Teresa is a single-vineyard expression made from a small, historic plot owned by Quinta do Crasto, and it is named in honour of the owner`s grandmother. The vineyard is unique due to its very old vines, some of which are over a century old, and the diverse range of indigenous grape varieties planted there. This old-vine mix is a treasure trove of Douro`s grape varieties, which contributes to the wine`s complexity and rarity. The wine itself is typically made from a combination of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz and other local grape varieties. It is known for its exceptional power and elegance, with a great concentration of flavours, including dark fruits, floral notes and spices.
